Finding your Inner Artist.
More seriously, how can we find our inner artist? At school there are lots of clubs: why don't you try out for things you usually wouldn't try out for like the school newspaper or gymnastics? Finding your talent, your inner artist, is all about taking up opportunities and trying new things. You may adore pets; check out the animal shelter after school, maybe your the next upcoming vet! You may be really flexible; try out for the gym showcase you may be a future olympian! You may be fabulous at writing, join the newspaper, enter competitions! Some people find their talents easily others need to try different things to help them. If you know your good at something, don't turn down opportunities. Of course its okay to say no but you shouldn't no everything like being chosen to sing lead in the school production! Also joining new clubs enables you to make friends with people with the same talents!Loving your inner Artist.
Once you've found your talents, explore them! Practice them at home! Enter contests, competitions and showcases and clubs. Make sure your inner Artist is heard! There may be an upcoming short story competition in a week, local talent show or ceramic competition! Make sure you get your talent seen and heard so people can admire and think; wow that girl is good!Saying No.
Of course it is okay to say no to opportunities you are not comfortable with. However you need to get a little out of your comfort zone whilst staying true to who you are. This may be challenging but don't push yourselves too hard like trying wrestling when you aren't that strong! Don't let other people force you to do clubs you don't want to do. Do the things you find enjoyable and comfortable.I hope this post helped, this blog isn't all about fashion and rainbows! Keep finding your inner artist, keep searching for your talent because I assure you, you will find it! Even if you're not very good at sports at school you may be amazing at another kind of sports (skiing or rowing.) Talents are unexpected!
